Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and trial balances.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation where required.
- Software Management: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel to maintain organized client records.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling financial data.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work part-time hours with the potential for occasional evening meetings.
