Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and categorize invoices using industry-standard software like QuickBooks or Xero.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports for clients.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and payroll support as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
