Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Accurately process and track invoices, bills, and payments to ensure vendors and clients are paid on time.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll for small business clients, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate records in the general ledger and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for bookkeeping inquiries, providing clear and professional updates.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling financial data and transactions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Reconcile credit card statements.
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Organize and file financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Advanced Excel skills required.

- Ability to work independently and remotely.
