Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring timely and error-free disbursements.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local business compliance.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records for easy access.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to catch small discrepancies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
