Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) and month-end closing reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for small business clients
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks software solutions
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Strong attention to detail with error prevention skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
