Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support.
- Organize and digitize financial records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
