Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Process payroll for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and audit preparations.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic tax preparation (1099s, W-2s).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
