Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within established deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Assist with quarterly/year-end closing procedures and audits
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Collaborate with leadership team on budget forecasting and financial planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting financial deadlines
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
