Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, trial balances, and financial statements.
- Process Management: Process invoices, expense reports, and payroll support as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Organization: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar cloud-based platforms.
- Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity with high precision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
