Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank/credit card statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 5-10 clients
- Generate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with detailed narratives
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and troubleshoot accounting discrepancies
- Prepare sales tax filings and assist with quarterly/annual tax documentation
- Support month-end closing processes and financial analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99%+ reconciliation accuracy
