Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process vendor invoices
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger monthly
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Process payroll for 15+ employees semi-monthly
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement QuickBooks best practices for clients
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and Texas tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English/Spanish
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) preferred
