Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions weekly
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheets) quarterly
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Business (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
