- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision and timeliness
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple clients
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for transaction recording and reporting
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and financial audits
- Provide proactive financial insights to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and NY tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
