Responsibilities
- Execute daily banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing superior service and identifying their financial needs.
- Proactively cross-sell bank products and services to enhance customer value and meet branch goals.
- Perform daily cash balancing and reconciliation of the teller drawer to ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in the branch lobby, managing queues and providing guidance to customers regarding digital banking tools.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or prior banking experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and aptitude for learning new banking software systems.
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays as required.
