Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the accounts payable sub-ledger and ensure records are up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding billing inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting tasks.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) is required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
