Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and authorization.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including data entry, payment processing, and record maintenance.
- Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment inquiries and clarify invoice details.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls regarding disbursements.
- Maintain organized, searchable digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
