Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial records with 99.9% accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll on weekends
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Support audit preparations and tax documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data management
- Provide weekend client support for urgent accounting inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 2+ years of accounting experience (weekend exposure preferred)
- QuickBooks and Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- CPA or actively pursuing certification (preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
