Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger entries on a monthly basis.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and expense reports with precision.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Support the payroll process for a small team of employees.
- Prepare and organize tax documentation and audit schedules as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
