Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with high accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and support year-end tax preparation.
- Maintain and organize financial ledgers and records using accounting software.
- Reconcile credit card statements and review expense reports for compliance.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to management as needed.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company financial policies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reconciliation principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Bookkeeper license is a significant plus.
