Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and ensure all regulatory filings are completed on time.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting support to management.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
