Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse industry clients
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly and annual compliance reviews
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for small-to-midsize businesses
- Process payroll and ensure adherence to federal/state tax regulations
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights to client stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation and secure financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong GAAP knowledge and tax compliance understanding
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a part-time capacity
