Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly financial statements for 15+ small to medium-sized clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare quarterly tax documentation and financial reports for audit preparation
- Conduct variance analysis comparing budgeted vs. actual financial performance
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Support month-end closing processes with timely journal entries
- Advising clients on cost optimization strategies during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years experience
- CPA or CPA candidacy required (active status preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written communication for client financial reporting
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment
