Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Conduct audits and implement internal controls for financial accuracy
- Provide financial analysis and budget forecasting support
- Collaborate with senior accountants on complex financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- QuickBooks proficiency with intermediate Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance standards
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Part-time availability (25-30 hours/week)
