Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations for multiple clients
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end closing processes
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support audits
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for small business clients
- Provide financial analysis and budgeting support to clients
- Collaborate with team on process improvements for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations (CA-specific)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail
- Part-time accounting experience required
