Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts receivable/payable for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial data integrity
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with CPA or CPA candidacy preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Florida CPA license (or in-progress) highly desirable
