Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and file quarterly tax returns ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancements
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and financial reporting
- Implement internal controls to strengthen financial processes
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with SMBs
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and financial reporting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Washington state tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven track record of meeting financial deadlines
