Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for diverse client portfolios using ADP and QuickBooks systems
- Verify and input employee time records, deductions, and bonuses with 100% accuracy
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and year-end compliance (W-2s, 1099s)
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and HR partners within SLA
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies monthly
- Train clients on payroll processes and system functionality
- Stay updated on federal/state payroll regulations and implement changes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Basic proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (training provided)
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Willingness to obtain FPC or CPP certification within 12 months
