Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable operations and ensure timely processing
- Conduct complex financial analysis and variance reporting for executive leadership
- Coordinate with external auditors during night shift engagements
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls protocols
- Lead night-shift accounting team projects and process improvements
- Prepare tax documentation and assist with quarterly filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proven night shift or alternative schedule work history
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA knowledge a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) strongly preferred
