Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients, focusing on data entry and reconciliation.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and wire transfers with high precision and minimal supervision.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in QuickBooks and Xero.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and trial balances for accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax packages.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and payment statuses during business hours.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
