We are looking for a proactive individual to handle our financial back-office operations with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform payroll processing and tax form preparation (e.g., W-2s, 1099s) during night hours.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM or similar).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
