Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare daily/monthly financial reports.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries are posted correctly.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system, ensuring all financial data is current and organized.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Support the finance team with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift on a full-time basis.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
