Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and submit monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and internal financial controls
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with external auditors during periodic examinations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to manage financial data efficiently
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during evening hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions and reconciliations
- Professional certification (e.g., CPAB, AIPB) highly desirable
