Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Manage and process payroll for multiple entities within the time window.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards (GAAP).
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting principles.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
