Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high precision.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
- Handle payroll processing for the night shift team, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
- Organize and file financial documents and receipts for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless workflow transition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
