Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including precise accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures with high attention to detail.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and post financial statements and reports to the general ledger.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Communicate discrepancies to the day-shift management team effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot errors instantly.
