Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations nightly
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial transactions
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual financial reviews
- Implement and improve accounting processes using QuickBooks and Excel automation
- Monitor cash flow projections and provide real-time financial insights
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of night shift or remote bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly desired
