Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process payroll entries and maintain employee time sheets for the night shift team.
- Reconcile monthly financial statements and prepare variance reports for management review.
- Assist with the month-end close process and internal financial audits.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems for fiscal compliance.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies quickly.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
