Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a nightly basis.
- Process payroll for the night shift workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Generate financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and accurately during night shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
