Responsibilities
- Accounts Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger entries to ensure 100% accuracy.
- AP/AR Management: Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and issue payments in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Payroll Support: Process and verify payroll data for staff members, ensuring all deductions and withholdings are correct.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain organized financial records and ensure all documentation complies with federal and state regulations.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and resolve outstanding accounts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; High school diploma or GED required.
- Software: Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently in a quiet environment.
