Responsibilities
- Perform Monthly & Daily Reconciliations: Accurately reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate aging reports.
- Conduct Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and variance analysis for the finance leadership team.
- Payroll Processing: Oversee the night shift payroll processing, ensuring all timesheets and deductions are correctly applied.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Post journal entries, adjust accruals, and maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
- Compliance & Auditing: Support internal and external audits by providing organized documentation and explanations as needed.
- System Management: Maintain and update accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) to ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and ensure 100% accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with the day-shift finance team.
- Professionalism: High level of integrity and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
