Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process for the night shift, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts on a nightly basis.
- Process payroll for internal night shift staff with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including trial balances and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
- Collaborate with the day-shift accounting team to ensure seamless data handover.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online or Xero preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work a full-time night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is required; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
