Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Generate and analyze financial reports for stakeholders.
- Manage payroll processing for assigned clients during the night shift.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
