Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and manage general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analysis.
- Process payroll for night shift employees and manage related tax documentation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts to ensure records match.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries and reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage 50.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
