Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting software
- Process nightly accounts payable/receivable transactions and bank reconciliations
- Generate daily financial reports and variance analyses for executive review
- Manage payroll processing for overnight staff and contractors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for night-shift operations
- Collaborate with day-team bookkeepers for seamless financial handovers
- Implement internal controls to safeguard after-hours financial data
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift or remote work preference
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
