Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance for night shift employees
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis for leadership review
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions with precision
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures during overnight shifts
- Collaborate with auditors and provide supporting documentation for financial reviews
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows for night shift operations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift or remote work exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage 50, or equivalent accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles and Arizona tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AAP) highly desirable
