Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements monthly
- Prepare financial reports for management review and client presentations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings and remittances
- Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and errors
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for data entry and analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift or flexible schedule
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in high-volume environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
