Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting software
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports for client review
- Process tax filings and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies and optimize processes
- Support audit preparation by organizing documentation and schedules
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) or willingness to obtain
