Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 50+ client accounts
- Process payroll and reconcile bank statements weekly
- Prepare month-end financial reports and variance analyses
- Handle accounts payable/receivable with Net-30 terms
- Maintain QuickBooks and Excel financial databases
- Coordinate with auditors during tax season
- Implement internal controls for financial accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with night shift preference
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Expertise in reconciling multi-entity accounts
- Strong attention to detail with error prevention skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Knowledge of NM state tax regulations
