Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions nightly
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Manage payroll processing for hourly employees
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily transaction recording
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Strong problem-solving skills for financial discrepancies
- Experience with multi-currency transactions a plus
