Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within ERP systems
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Manage payroll processing for 150+ employees using ADP
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
- Maintain organized financial records in compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Illinois tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines during night shift operations
- Excellent attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
